Rachele teaches the following classes:

Boot Camps

Boot camp exercise is a high-intensity, full-body workout that combines cardio and strength training. Boot camp classes are often large, group-oriented, and led by a trainer. The workouts are designed to be challenging and push participants to work out harder than they might on their own.

Barre

Barre is a low-impact exercise that combines elements of ballet, yoga, Pilates, and strength training. It's typically performed in a group class in a studio using a ballet barre, but can also be done with a chair or other stable surface. Barre classes focus on developing strength and flexibility in the lower body and core, and can help you tone muscles you might not normally target.

Cardio Sculpt

(HIIT style training class with weights.) Cardio sculpt is a high-energy, fast-paced class that combines cardio and strength training exercises to increase your heart rate, burn calories, and tone your muscles.

Yoga Fit with OR without weights (also called “Yoga Sculpt”)

Yoga Fit/Sculpt is a hybrid class that uses yoga postures, cardio, and strength training exercises like squats, lunges, and bicep curls. It often incorporates weights, resistance bands, or body weight.

  • Yoga sculpt can help you build muscle, increase flexibility, and improve endurance. It can also boost your metabolism and burn calories. Yoga sculpt is suitable for all fitness levels because classes can be customized for beginners and advanced students. Instructors can modify poses for beginners by using lighter weights, performing poses without weights, or taking breaks.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga is a flowing practice that moves from one pose to the next in a sequence. The sequence is often based on a theme, such as the chakras, or a peak pose.

  • Breath-based transitions

Vinyasa yoga transitions between poses using the breath, rather than muscle contractions.

  • Variety

Vinyasa yoga classes can vary in style, pace, and intensity depending on the teacher.

  • Benefits

Vinyasa yoga can help build strength, flexibility, and balance, and improve lung function.

  • Similar to Ashtanga yoga

Vinyasa Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga are similar in approach, but Ashtanga Yoga follows the same pattern of poses each time.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga focuses on improving flexibility and range of motion by targeting the body's deeper connective tissues, such as the ligaments, joints, bones, and fascial networks. Yin yoga poses are held for 3 to 10 minutes, or even longer. Yin yoga can improve flexibility, circulation, and stamina, and calm the mind.

Yoga Nidra Classes

Yoga nidra, also known as "yogic sleep", is a guided meditation practice that induces a deep state of relaxation between sleep and wakefulness. It's a simplified version of an ancient tantric technique that combines mental imagery with the Shavasana pose.

Here are some characteristics of Yoga Nidra:

  • Goal: To achieve a state of relaxation where you're aware of your surroundings.

  • Practice: Typically involves lying down while a teacher guides you through mindful exercises, such as focusing on your breath or specific body parts.

  • Benefits: May help with stress, anxiety, insomnia, creativity, learning, and cardiovascular health.

  • Accessibility: Suitable for all ages and skill levels, including beginners.

The modern form of yoga nidra was pioneered by Dennis Boyes in 1973 and popularized by Satyananda Saraswati in 1976. The U.S. Army now uses yoga nidra to help soldiers recover from post-traumatic stress disorder.

Meditation Classes

There are many forms of meditation, including movement meditation, transcendental meditation, mantra meditation, and mindful meditation. Mindful meditation is arguably the most popular. Rachele teaches mindful meditation in either a seated or supine position. Meditation can help improve physical and psychological well-being,

  • Improved ability to think, concentrate, and solve problems

  • Decreased symptoms of anxiety, depression, or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

  • Better ability to adapt to and overcome emotional problems

  • Improved sleep, high blood pressure, and heart function
